DOES THIS SOUND FAMILIAR?
ACT ONE (A scene that repeats itself millions of times per night around the world.)

MAN: Finally gets to go downtown and fumbles to get his hand where it counts.
MAN: Starts random up-and-down or circular motion, hoping to God he can hit the spot and not be surprised.
WOMAN: Moans and man thinks he’s doing well.
WOMAN: Stops moaning.
MAN: Shifts technique or goes into overdrive, and woman asks him to slow down.
MAN: Slows down. Five seconds of mild positive response later, nothing.
MAN: Feels like a dog trying to open a door with no thumbs.
WOMAN: Gently stops his increasingly erratic attack after 10 minutes. Best case scenario, they move on to something the man can understand – penis in vagina.

Most men admit they’re not fans of asking for directions. But they’ll happily read a manual – especially one that tells them how to make you orgasm in a new way. Enter US author Timothy Ferriss (not in that way). When he interviewed adult movie star Nina Hartley he came across the One Taste method, where a man strokes a woman on the upper quadrant of her clitoris for 15 minutes. He tried it on his girlfriend. She had two strong orgasms, plus an extended 15-minute one. Nice one, Ferriss.

To share the love, he explains the method in his book, The 4-Hour Body – and we’re now sharing it with you and your partner. Listen and learn well, grasshopper…

GETTING STARTED
This technique requires 15 minutes of 100 per cent concentration on approximately three square millimetres of contact. Nothing more. Test this and practise it with your partner. The pay-off will alter your sexual experience forever.

NO PRESSURE
Remind each other that this is a goal-less practice. There is no objective, just a focus on a single point of contact. This should remove all expectations and pressure. He is going to touch you for 15 minutes. You don’t need to do anything. The only focus should be on the short stroke just as the emphasis would be on the breath in most forms of meditation. View it as an exercise in mindful awareness. And the more you focus, the greater your satisfaction.

ASSUME THE POSITION
First, it’s time to get naked. Lie on your back (use a pillow for neck support), then bend and move your legs apart. It’s easier for your bloke to get the right point of contact with his left hand so get him to sit to your right on top of a couple of pillows and straddle his bent left leg across your stomach. (If he’s a heavy fella you may want to add some pillows to relieve any pressure from his left leg on your torso.)

If he feels more comfortable doing this with his right hand then simply get him to swap sides. But if he does this, it’s important for him to tilt his right wrist towards you slightly as if he were looking at a watch to create a better finger angle. As most people are right-handed, we’ve explained it this way round (man on left side of you, using his right hand). Are you ready? Use the steps and the (admittedly abstract) pictures at right to get going...

1/ Separate the labia.

2/?Gently retract the clitoral hood upwards with the heel of his palm.

3/?Anchor the clitoris with his right thumb by holding the hood back.

4/?Get him to put his left hand under your bum, with two fingers under each cheek, and his thumb resting on, not in, the base of the entrance to the vagina. This is called the ring of introitus (we know it sounds like a Jason Statham film). Doing this acts as an anchor and help you feel more relaxed. Now comes the important part: finding the “upper quadrant” of your clitoris, which is a tiny area crammed with thousands of nerve endings. Tell your partner to imagine he’s looking directly at your clitoris from between your legs, with the top of the clitoris as 12 on a clock face. Get him to find one o’clock – ideally a small indentation or pocket between the hood and your clitoris – with his index finger and begin stroking using the lightest touch possible (think two pages of paper as depth of pressure) and only 1.5mm or so of movement. The tip of his finger is better than the pad. Have him stroke at a constant speed for periods of two to three minutes – it’s OK to change speed between periods. (If his back gets tired, he can try bracing his left elbow against your right leg.)

5/??Once 15 minutes are up, end with “grounding”. Nothing to do with punishing teenagers, it’s just a new-age term for easing you out of the experience, which conveniently avoids fixation on having a full-blown orgasm as closure. Get him to put pressure down on your pubic bone and up towards your head, using overlapping hands. You dictate the pressure. Most women find the strongest pressure the most pleasurable. You may find you want to have sex now. Don’t let us stop you.

ANATOMY OF YOUR ORGASM: WHAT’S GOING ON WHEN YOU’RE HEADING FOR THE BIG OH-OHHH!
FOREPLAY: Your heart rate goes up, and blood heads straight to your vagina and clitoris. The vaginal walls secrete beads of lubrication that start to get bigger and flow together.
GETTING CLOSER: Your vagina’s on the move: the lower part narrows to grip the penis; the upper bit expands to give it somewhere to go. Nipples do their best bullet impression.
NEARLY THERE: An incredible amount of nerve and muscle tension builds up in the genitals, pelvis buttocks and thighs until…
YES YES YES! Your body releases it all when the uterus, vagina and anus contract at 0.8-second intervals, aka your orgasm. Amplify it by breathing through your mouth and consciously relaxing your pelvic floor.
AFTERWARDS: That nice warm glow. A Dutch study found the brain areas involving fear are deactivated during orgasm, plus the bonding hormone oxytocin is released.

For all the effort you've put into toning it - and all the cupcakes you've given up to maintain it - your midsection should be as rock-hard as a diamond and just as much fun to show off. So why does it seem like your quest for a sexy stomach always hits a bump (at about belly-button level)?
You're not alone in feeling frustrated: Sixty-two percent of women say the body part they're most self-conscious about is their belly. But don't give up hope. It turns out some of the old food advice you've been following for years may actually be working against you, says nutritionist Alan Aragon. He's waded through the latest data and here are his top 10 tips for shrinking your stomach (and slimming down all over).

1. EAT AFTER EXERCISING
This is the best time to have your largest meal of the day - as long as it's a reasonable size and not a full-on feast. That's because you've just reduced your body's fuel reserves, and food can help aid your recovery. Plus, when your body is in a recovery state, incoming calories and nutrients stand a better chance of being absorbed by muscle tissue instead of being stored as fat. If your goal is to curb uncontrollable hunger after a workout, try lean beef, poultry, or fish - protein-rich foods tend to be very filling. Pair that meat with whole-food, high-fibre carbohydrate sources such as beans. Fibre is another element that can help you feel satiated quickly.

2. EAT HOWEVER YOU FEEL
Contrary to what you've heard, the five-small-meals-a-day mantra doesn't work for everyone. The new thinking? You'll eat healthiest if you eat your way - meaning, if you prefer substantial meals fewer times a day, there's no reason to force yourself to do the opposite, says Aragon. But while the number of meals doesn't matter, their size does. According to Purdue University researchers in the US, the biggest problem with our noshing behavior is that snacks have become meals, and meals have become feasts. In the past 30 years, snack sizes have increased from 360 calories to a whopping 580 - and when you consider that the average woman snacks twice during each workday, you're looking at almost 500 extra calories a day. In just two weeks, these oversize bites - no matter how "healthy" - can contribute to an extra lb of fat. However many times you eat, always make sure that you're keeping an eye on your portions.

3. EAT FAT TO SLIM DOWN
It's been scientifically proven: Eating fat helps you become slim, says Aragon. In fact, the Institute of Medicine recommends that fatty foods make up 20 to 35 percent of your total calories. This, of course, isn't an invitation to head over to the nearest fast-food joint. You have to include the right fats - primarily monounsaturated fats (MUFAs) like nuts, avocados, and healthy oils - and stay away from processed foods that contain trans fats, such as baked goods. A report in the British Journal of Nutrition found that a MUFA-rich diet helped people lose small amounts of weight and body fat even when they didn't change their calorie intake. What's more, dieters who took a high-fat approach needed 25 fewer days to lose 10 pounds than those who used a high-carb approach, according to researchers at Johns Hopkins University - and that was on a diet of 30 percent fat! So go ahead and indulge (in moderation) in fatty foods that are good for your body, including beef (sirloin steak, yes please), pork, eggs (yolks too), and reduced-fat sour cream and cheese.

4. STEP AWAY FROM THE CALORIE COUNTER
What matters most for shedding belly fat boils down to calories in versus calories out. And counting calories will help you stick to a consistent healthy eating plan - but if worrying about Every. Single. Calorie. is stressing you out, put away the calculator (after all, research shows that stress itself can cause you to stuff your face). Instead, fill your plate with whole, energy-dense foods, such as lean protein, fruits, vegetables, and whole grains. Because they pack a lot of nutrition into comparatively few calories, you're able to eat more and feel full without expanding your waistline.

5. CARBS ARE NOT THE ENEMY
Time to overthrow the tyranny of Drs Atkins and Dukan - for carbs are not your enemy. Yes, if you overeat them, you'll gain weight - but so you will with any other food. When it comes to weight loss, your total calorie balance is what matters. If you eat more than you burn, the unused calories turn into fat that gets stored in your belly (and elsewhere), regardless of where those calories come from. That said, if just the sight of carb-heavy dishes melts your willpower, avoiding them is a foolproof way to control your weight. More realistic, perhaps, is making sure most of your carbs are the complex kind found in whole grains and raw fruits and vegetables. Because these tend to fill you up with fibre, it's easier to eat them in controlled portions than it is with highly processed refined carbs like white bread, pasta, and rice.

6. GRAB A PROTEIN SHAKE
Don't be fooled by labels featuring ripped, bulked-up dudes. Anyone can benefit from the belly-flattening power of protein powder. Opt for whey protein over soy though - according to a study in The Journal of Nutrition, participants whose diets included whey protein for 23 weeks had less body fat and a smaller waist than those who chose soy. In fact, as strange as it sounds, dieters who included whey protein in their eating plan doubled their fat loss compared with those who ate the same number of calories but didn't drink any shakes. To reveal your abs once and for all, try including a whey protein shake once a day or at least a few times a week.

7. LOSE INCHES AS WELL AS WEIGHT
This usually means you're not strength training or eating enough protein, says Aragon. Pick up some weights, and add 170g lean meat to your post-workout meal or mix two scoops of protein powder into a smoothie or yogurt. Each option yields about 40 grams of protein, the amount you need to lose fat while preserving metabolism-revving muscle.

8. TUCK INTO DAIRY
Cutting back on the amount of dairy you eat can signal your body to make more fat cells, according to a study in The American Journal of Clinical Nutrition. When you don't have enough calcium in your body, it tries to hold on to what's there. This triggers the release of a compound called calcitriol, which increases the production of fat cells. Eating extra calcium suppresses calcitriol, which breaks down fat and makes your fat cells leaner and your tummy flatter. So enjoy the moo juice, yogurt, or a little cheese. Because dairy does tend to be high in calories, keep your portions small or stick to low-fat varieties.

9. LIMIT THE SWEETENERS
Nutritionists debate this topic as vigorously as politicos argue about tax hikes. There's no direct link between consuming artificial sweeteners and gaining weight. Still, some research indicates that by providing you with the taste of a high-calorie meal without delivering the calories your brain expects, diet foods made with chemicals, artificial sweeteners, and preservatives can actually leave you craving more food, which causes you to overeat. And another reason to tone down your diet soda habit: scientists at the University of Minnesota found that diet sodas and fake sugars may increase your risk for metabolic syndrome, which results in higher levels of belly fat, blood sugar, and cholesterol. So it's a good idea to limit your intake to three or four servings a day at most (one packet of sugar substitute in your coffee is one serving; one can of diet soda is two). If your diet otherwise consists mainly of real foods, you can enjoy a little sweetener, whether it's artificial or not.

10. STEER CLEAR OF FAT-LOSS PILLS
Most fat-loss pills are a waste of money, and many carry scary risks, says Aragon. The truth is, the fat loss caused by any supplement is minor and is even less significant in people who have a substantial amount of weight to lose, he says. The best and only real way to uncover your abs - permanently - is to focus on what you eat and how you exercise.

Last week's Wall Street Journal gave me the honor of including my new book Younger (Thinner) You Diet in their roundup of the top diet books for 2009. Yet at the same time they took me to task for my "peculiar" suggestion that losing weight is connected to boosting brain chemicals with supplements and bioidentical hormones like human-growth hormone and pregnenolone, a steroid.

In reality, there's nothing peculiar about it. My medical practice focuses on the brain because it is the primary organ in the body that controls health and aging. The brain regulates, translates, and interprets hormonal output from the various other organs of the body. But once you turn 30, the brain becomes less effective in sending messages to the other organs to produce their hormones. This forces the other organs to age, and we start to lose our health in small steps. For example, growth hormone production diminishes at age 30; by 40 women begin to lose estrogen and men testosterone; then we lose DHEA, progesterone, parathyroid hormone, and calcitonin.

The more we age, the more hormones we lose. Our organs get to a point where they can no longer produce a particular hormone on their own. Eventually, that organ will die and drag the others down with it, leading to a cascade of poor health and unnecessary aging. Worse, without the right levels of hormones, many women, and men as well, find that they just can't lose weight, no matter how hard they try.

The only thing that will stop this cascade and allow you to lose weight and keep it off is by supplementing your hormone loss with new hormones, and not any type of hormone will do. Like Suzanne Somers and so many people in the medical community, I only recommend following a hormone replacement therapy regimen that uses bioidentical hormones. I feel strongly about this because it has been proven in various studies that synthetic estrogens, as well as other hormone therapies, have been linked to cancer.

It all began in 1979 when The FIRM Studio opened in South Carolina. By combining cardio and weight training, The FIRM recognized that people could burn fat, build muscle and get the bodies they wanted safely, effectively and quickly. This revolutionary cardio-plus-body-sculpting fitness hybrid we call Synergy Training formed the basis for The FIRM method then and is still central to The FIRM philosophy today. It didn't take long for fitness enthusiasts to catch on, and The FIRM was off and running.

When The FIRM decided to share their successful method with people who were unable to travel to the Studio, the at-home workout series was born. Considered "America's #1 exercise videos," The FIRM received glowing reviews and top professional awards from the very start. Along the way, The FIRM acquired a dedicated following who call themselves The FIRM Believers. These women and men have had great results with The FIRM home fitness workout routines.

Since then, The FIRM has sold more than ten million workouts. Today, The FIRM mission is to continue researching and creating superior fitness techniques and products for reshaping and toning the body. The FIRM has not only changed the direction of the entire fitness industry, it has also redefined our attitudes toward fitness and health

Natural, bioidentical hormones, on the other hand, are much safer and generally not linked to cancer at all. These are often plant-based hormone supplements with the exact same molecular structure as those that come from the human body, and have the same effect on our body as the ones we naturally produce.

Most of these bioidentical hormones are not new on the market: they have been available for over 20 years, and are so lacking in side effects that they are frequently sold over the counter as supplements, including Vitamin D2, 3, pregnenolone, progesterone, DHEA, and melatonin.

For Many Women, a Diet without Natural Hormone Supplementation is a Lie

In order to lose excess weight that is associated with aging, you may need to increase your hormone levels. This alone may provide the kick start you need to make my diet--or any diet you've chosen to follow--more effective. The good news is that a decline of any hormone is neither irreparable nor permanent. In fact, it's often an easy and painless fix.

The "bad" news is that hormones can't be reproduced through foods or nutrient supplementation. The only way to safely increase your hormones to younger levels is to take hormone supplements. These hormone supplements work as nutrients to feed your aging brain. Specific to weight loss, increased levels of hormones can boost your metabolism, so that you will burn more body fat as fuel, and create the caloric deficit you need to lose weight. Better still, these bioidentical hormones can help increase your memory and attention, decrease anxiety, and help you get a better night's sleep.

Discuss this option with your physician, and make sure to get proper medical testing to determine which hormones you may be lacking.

Lose Weight and Reverse Aging With These Bio-Identical Hormones
· DHEA: DHEA facilitates weight loss as it increases the body's metabolism, inhibits body fat storage, and reduces appetite for dietary fats.

· Estrone: A deficiency of this hormone can make women particularly choose the wrong foods and crave sugar.

· HGH: human growth hormone: Growth Hormone is critical for the conversion of body fat to muscle mass, and it reduces visceral and subcutaneous fats, and inhibits the formation of body fat.

· Incretin (at least 50% bioidentical): Helps to ensure an appropriate insulin response following ingestion of a meal, suppressing inappropriately elevated glucagon levels, promoting satiety and reducing food intake, and slowing the rate of gastric emptying.

· Insulin: It has effects on fat metabolism and it changes the liver's activity in storing or releasing glucose and in processing blood lipids, and in other tissues such as fat and muscle.

· Pregnenolone: Pregnenolone appears to block the effects of cortisol, preventing stress and abdominal fat buildup while producing a calming effect. I have found that pregnenolone supplementation is a very effective weight loss tool. It keeps the brain healthy, and metabolism stays high. It also increases testosterone levels for both men and women, which is important because testosterone helps to maintain an aggressive metabolism.

· Progesterone: Progesterone may be useful for treating excessive weight as it facilitates the utilization of stored body fat as energy. It is a sex hormone that when imbalanced makes women overeat. It is typically used as a part of traditional hormone replacement therapy in women.

· Testosterone: is a sex hormone produced by both men and women. Testosterone drops cause sugar cravings and can lead to insulin resistance. Testosterone is often used in weight management as it facilitates weight loss by inhibiting body fat storage, especially in the abdomen.

He lost more than 100 kilos (220 lbs) without diets or surgery, now meet the man who says we can all melt fat using the power of our minds” Ray Martin (A Current Affair TV Program)

Jon Gabriel has a Bachelor of Science in Economics from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. While there, he also pursued extensive coursework in biochemistry and performed research for the internationally recognized biochemist Dr. Jose Rabinowitz.

In 1990 Jon started gaining weight for no apparent reason. He tried every diet and program he could to lose weight but in the end, he just kept gaining. The more he dieted, the more he gained.

The situation became critical in mid 2001 when he became morbidly obese and reached a weight of over 186 kilos. On September 11, 2001 he was scheduled to fly from Newark to San Francisco and it was only by a fluke of fate that he was not on the United Airlines flight 93 that was hijacked by terrorists.

This event, as well as some equally life changing events that occurred in the weeks following 9/11 affected him deeply. It was this wakeup call that made him realize life was a precious opportunity not to be wasted.

He decided to start ‘living the life of his dreams’. He also decided to apply all of his research skills and scientific background toward understanding and eliminating the real reasons he was fat.

The result is arguably one of the most remarkable physical transformations of all time. Jon lost over 103 kilos without dieting and without surgery. Amazingly, his body shows almost no signs of ever being overweight at all – a fact that has astounded many professionals in the medical community.

Using the approach that has worked so well for him, he has now made it his life’s mission to assist others in achieving tremendous success, not only in weight loss, but in every aspect of life.

Jon’s story has been featured on A Current Affair and Today/Tonight in Australia. His success in helping others lose weight has also been discussed on many popular talk shows in the U.S., including The Jane Pauley Show, Hard Copy and Entertainment Tonight.

Jon’s Amazing Weight Loss Story

Jon lost 103 kilograms in 2 ½ years. His weight dropped from 186 kilograms (409 pounds) to 83 kilograms (183 pounds ) and he achieved this weight loss without diets or surgery and without having the typical excess skin associated with massive weight loss.

Jon’s book, The Gabriel Method, is an international best seller which is receiving tremendous reviews and helping people all over the world to lose weight without dieting!

Jon Gabriel receives the prestigious “Lifting Up the World with a Oneness-Heart Award.” This award honors individuals of inspiration and dedication. The award has been presented to numerous heads of state such as President Nelson Mandela, spiritual leaders like Mother Teresa, athletes such as Muhammad Ali, Carl Lewis and Billie Jean King, and entertainers such as Sting, Susan Sarandon and Richard Gere.

“You have achieved something which will help millions of people to live better lives!”

I am so moved by your deep intuitive understanding and your mental brilliance. It is really a life transforming book! I am so proud of you!!! You have achieved something which will help millions of people to live better lives!” – Ashrita Furhman
